What's the fascination with Science Fiction?

Science Fiction has always been a means to an end for me.  It's a way to get into the parallel universe of the imagination.

When I was a little boy my parents played imagination games.  My favorite TV shows and movies were the ones that excited the imagination.

But the thing that really set my imagination free was when Jesus revealed Himself to me.  From that point on my imagination was completely freed and runs like a wild deer through the forest of possibility.

There is nothing more fantastic than believing in Jesus.  The stories are amazing, the experiences are mind bending.  Having God as your friend is weird and strange.  Reality is eternal.  Death isn't the end of life, it's the way things used to be.  Everything is very, very different.

For example, science is not a belief system, it's a bunch of thought models—very good and useful models.  Science Fiction is playing with those models.  Time/space manipulation, string theory, the paranormal, psychic abilities, manipulation of the elements, faith healing; all these things are unlocked in my imagination because of my faith.

So, I eat up a good Science Fiction story.  And I have one to tell.

I went to Las Vegas for a weekend vacation a while back.  I went to bed the first night and woke up with am amazing story swimming in my head.  A Science Fiction story of good and evil.  I call the story SOUL and I'd like to tell it to you.

What IF...
