Nigel's a sexy, engaging, world renowned artist and sculptor. His wife Melinda is a ballerina half his age. She's very high strung and moody but she never shows that side to Nigel because she adores him and respects his calm demeanor and amazing sense of balance and beauty. Nigel is also a dedicated pacifist. Will and Nigel met in L.A. at an art gallery that was displaying his work. Will liked the message of beauty and cultural diversity and began to promote him amongst his circle of friends.
When Will called Nigel about joining the group he had to work hard to convince him but Will knew they needed someone like Nigel to round out the inner structure of the Free Souls. Nigel had one objective in joining - peace. He had a passion for using the language of the arts to promote peace and he figured maybe he could do that by joining his friend Will. Nigel was shocked when he found art had just scratched at the structure and beauty of the cosmos. He was fairly weak in many of the powers but strong in Structure. His presence intensified the cimmunal abilities of the Free Souls though as an individual Nigel had no other paticular strength. He was unusally strong as a healer though too.
Nigel tended to spend most of his time in meditation, focusing on strengthening the bond between the Free Souls. When Valen appeared on the scene, Nigel made an inner decision about the possibility of facing her in soul combat that would eventually play itself out in time.
