Reece was a world class musician who played violin and was featured in both philharmonics and pop venues. He was born in Taiwan but his parents moved to Seattle when he was a young boy. He speaks with a slight Chinese accent and has a striking charisma that oozes optimism.
Reece met John Thornton backstage at a concert. They started talking philosophy, exchanged cards and remained good friends. When
John called Reece about the opportunity to make a difference in Taiwan, Reece cancelled his appointments and left for Nashville.

Reece was the first to equip himself with a weapon - his violin - which he carried on a special belt. He could direct focused energy waves, shatter many things (including metal), cause the earth to shake like an earthquake and more with a
stroke of his bow. He also could extend his hair and whip people with it. In preparation for the battle in the Gobi desert with
Valen, Reece created a
separating device that hooked to his hands and shot wave motion blasts like machine gun fire.
