Early Years
The oldest child of LaRon and Marchelle
Thebodaux, William (Will) was born to a family that stood for
freedom. He embraced a black heritage that traced back to the
1600's in New Orleans where his family was respected and
influential. Will speaks with a slow southern drawl that can
lull people but be careful. His parents thought he should be a
lawyer because of his ability to debate and influence people.
But he became a prominent Neurosurgeon and dedicated his life to
healing people.
Will met
Adam Solomon while at Emory
University doing his post graduate work. He saw something very
special in Adam and worked hard to establish their friendship.
He then moved to Nashville, TN and took a teaching position and
focused on research. There he met a bright nurse named
DeAndrea Sanford. They dated for years but because they were
both so strong willed they didn't marry until DeAndrea had
established herself and rose to become the Dean of the Nursing
School at Grambling.
When Adam and Janet moved to Nashville, Will
joined Adam's research team and became his close loyal companion.
He has some trouble with the inclusion of
John Thornton in their close
friendship but John gradually won him over.

Will volunteered to be the first one to have
the operation to connect the mind and body. He amazed Adam,
John, DeAndrea and Janet with the report of the incredible mental
powers that had been unlocked. But they were even more shocked
when Will demonstrated his new soul powers.
Mind Master soon became Will's obvious talent.
He was the best at creating illusions, putting a paralyzing mind
lock on someone and probing into another person's mind. Will
also developed a helmet that amplified his powers and helped shield
him from other mind probes. Will eventually gained so much
mind power that the force of his ability could reach over a mile and
altered the earth's pole a fractions of a degree.
